Stay Golden To Release Debut E.P Three Day Weekend April 12th
          Chicago, IL. April 12th, 2011.
Chicago upstart pop punk group is set to release their first official collection of music Tuesday, April 12th.  The E.P will feature five original songs that are packed with catchy hooks, varying tempos and the lyrical musings of Chicago heartbreak. The E.P is a digital self release for now, but will be available at all major online retailers including iTunes, Amazon, and Zune.
In addition, Stay Golden’s A’capella video cover of Fall Out Boy front man Patrick Stump’s new single “Spotlight (Oh, Nostalgia)” debuted on YouTube March 28th to immediate positive reaction.  The band’s 4th YouTube video, the cover even garnered reaction from Stump himself. Stump posted via Twitter “Pretty cool that someone did this [video link] Thanks Stay Golden.”, the video even interested Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley, who also tweeted about enjoying the cover. Only a week has passed and the video has over 4,500 views.
Finally, the band will be appearing at The Metro in Chicago April 23rd opening for fellow Chicago band Madina Lake. This will be Madina Lake’s first show back with Mathew Leone in over a year and is expected to be a sold out show.
